Why did Trump choose to endorse Evette?

The way I see it, Trump should be upset with our state's lawmakers, and our state in general.  We have closed primaries.  Liberal Republicans continue to pollute our state house and senate because they can win their local primaries with liberal support.  Liberal candidates do not win in the general elections in S.C, so the only way to win is to cloak candidates with conservative lingo and muscle their way onto the November ballot each year.  Typical citizens are too lazy to change the Republican leadership.

With liberal Republicans at the helm, it should be no surprise when we:

(1) do not deputize our state law enforcement to assist with illegal immigrants,

(2) we still have tax on overtime,

(3) we still have tax on tips,

(4) we don't re-district and get rid of the token democrat seat that's drawn according to racial boundaries (against the law, and the Supreme Court gave authority to re-draw the congressional districts),

(5) we have a US Senator that votes 47% of the time with democrats (Graham) that will still end up winning in November (what, a 4th term?),

(6) our US Senators do not publicly condemn the Senate leadership (Thune) when he has the Senate gaveled-in every 72 hours while on break to prevent appointments from being approved.  No other Senate leader has done this to his party in the history of our country.

(7) our US Senators do not publicly condemn Thune for holding back the SAVE AMERICA ACT from passing and not nuking the filibuster.

(8) we have two mostly spineless US Senators more interested in their own agendas (which may include carrying a princess wand around disney world) than that of the country and state at-large.  SHAMEFUL

So, Trump is endorsing the weakest RINO with the least amount of political spine.  Evette, if governor, will not be a true leader for the party.  She isn't now, so why would she behave differently with just a new title?  When the brown-noser gets promoted at work, how popular and effective is that person?  NOT.

Maybe that's what we deserve until we can remove the Republican leadership at the state level.
